Welcome to Crescis! These Terms and Conditions (’Terms’) govern your access to and use of the academic software-as-a-service platform operated by Crescis (’we’, ’us’, or ’our’) at https://crescis.co (the ’Service’).

You may upload academic articles and other materials (“User Content”) to Crescis to utilize the features of the Service. By uploading any content, you represent and warrant that:

  • You either own the copyright or have secured all necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to upload, use, and process such content via Crescis.
  • Your use of the content does not infringe upon any intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or contractual obligations of any third party.

We do not claim ownership of your uploaded content. You retain all rights to your intellectual property. However, by uploading content, you grant Crescis a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. Crescis reserves the right to remove or restrict access to any User Content if we receive a legal notice, claim of copyright infringement, court order, or other valid legal request requiring us to do so. We also reserve the right to take such actions proactively if we believe the content may expose us to legal liability.
